There actually is a pretty big player base. PS: I don't play unlimited, before you ask. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you'll find very, very few people who play unlimited on a regular basis. Of course you'll find players but these will be noobs pretty often who think they are undefeatable with a 3 Raigeki, 3 Feather Duster deck. I think it's popularity is significantly smaller than the popularity of formats like traditional or goats. Turbo Chaos Emperor Dragon builds pre errata are almost on par with this built. After 2 Confiscation there are not many life points left so it's good that it's cheap to summon. It does it job against dragon ruler builds which I underestimated previsously but can be very strong. Roach is probably the most debatable card in this next to Herald of the Arc Light. Sometimes the mirror evolves into a beat down with small creatures and Dragolich is MVP in this. It is also Level 4 unlike Ally of Justice Core Destroyer so if I can get it to the grave Noden will make my summons cheaper. It also works when flipped face-up by an attack. Dragolich's effect is continuos and cards like Quasar and Infinity can't negate it. Then, if you only have Infinity and IO, Dragolich can easily destroy that field. However, if you don't have Dyna and summon Infinity and Roots, you're vulnerable to Super Polymerization. There are many cards that can break an incomplete lock but Infinity, Roots, Dyna and Imperial Order is almost unbreakable. Hand traps, Flying "C", Super Polymerization, Lava Golem, the Kaiju, Ally of Justice Core Destroyer to name a few. Then several disruptive cards enter the meta.

The should win against every combo/deepdraw deck of the format. The original objective of the deck was to make a field of Imperial Order/Shock Master and Infinity consistently. All depending on the cards you see with The Forceful Sentry or Confiscation. The win condition of the deck is a combination of Cyber Dragon Infinity, Shock Master, Utopia Roots, Steelswarm Roach, Fossil Dyna, Imperial Order and Vanity's Emptiness. Night Dragolich is one of my most important discoveries so I'm glad you're asking about it.
#POKEMON TCG UNLIMITED FORMAT TOTAL LOCKDOWN UPDATE#
I will update this list once I find something better. The only list that comes close to beating this deck is a Victory Dragon built only as long it is not allowed to scoop before Victory Dragon's attack. This list is the best deck in unlimited now. Thanks to Droll & Lock Bird, PSYframe Gear Delta and easy spell locks through Magical Scientist and Imperial Order, First turn kill decks like Exodia are officially dead in the unlimited format.
